A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Amy and I'm a photography addict.
I have always loved taking photos but realised I have a passion for it shortly after my daughter was born over six years ago.
During maternity leave my Mummy friends and I found that we had hardly any pictures of ourselves with our babies as we were usually the ones taking them. We also didn’t have many of both parents with our children as well as any siblings or pets. After asking around it seemed to be the case for a lot of parents...
"Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."
WHY I'M DIFFERENT
I want to give you pictures that you will be bursting to show off to everyone, even if you don’t normally like having your picture taken. I want you to be able to see the beauty everyone else sees in you.
I don't need to spend hours editing your photos because you are beautiful and unique.
My aim is to take images full of love, fun and real laughter, this will show your natural beauty, cheeky personalities, happiness and special connections and moments. Humour definitely has a part to play in photography and during the shoot I try to make it fun and relaxed to capture real moments of happiness rather than saying cheese to force a smile. To start off in the right way I like to spend 10-15 minutes with you to get you used to me and feel more comfortable. I find this is especially important with children as they are sometimes shy when meeting new people for the first time. I am patient, friendly and used to diva personalities as well as quieter ones so will always try and tailor my approach to individual needs.
Your photos are precious, they hold memories with your loved ones and because of that I don’t want to offer you “free photoshoots” that come with fancy and often expensive price packages that only give you a few prints.
Photography has moved on, as well as printing pictures people also want to put images on calendars, phone covers, cards etc which is why I will either email your pictures (up to 10) or put them on a USB stick. This gives you full flexibility with your images and you can print them to suit your budget.
